Microneedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that uses fine needles to create controlled microchannels in the skin. At Aloe Health, treatment is individualized according to your skin type, concerns, health history, and treatment goals.
Microneedling may be selected for cosmetic concerns such as acne scarring, skin texture, fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone. Treatment areas and treatment parameters are determined based on an individual assessment and the manufacturer's instructions.
At Aloe Health, we use the Salient E-Pen, an automated microneedling device designed for use by certified aesthetic practitioners and/or trained clinicians. The device is recognized by Health Canada, and treatment is provided according to the manufacturer's instructions and applicable professional requirements.
Before treatment, the skin is gently cleansed and prepared. Treatment is performed using a sterile, single-use needle cartridge and sleeve in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
After your treatment, you will receive post-procedure skincare products and instructions for caring for your skin during the recovery period. The manufacturer's instructions include avoiding exercise and sun exposure for 72 hours following treatment and allowing at least four weeks before the next microneedling appointment.
Please let us know about any medical conditions, medications, skin conditions, recent cosmetic procedures, or other relevant health information before treatment. Microneedling may not be appropriate in certain circumstances, including active acne, rosacea or inflammatory skin conditions, open or irritated skin, active infection, certain bleeding or clotting conditions, and pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Facial sculpting techniques are incorporated to provide a temporary, refreshed and more defined appearance to the facial contours. Treatment is individualized according to the patient's needs, comfort, health history, and treatment goals.
Buccal Massage & Facial Sculpting may be chosen by patients seeking support for facial and jaw tension, clenching or grinding-related discomfort, facial puffiness, or general facial relaxation and rejuvenation.
